incorrect flushing

my friend wants to upgrade his motor and i need a motor his motor is a 50 hp honda its 5 years old and he told me one time that he never flushes it when he takes it out of the water the motor looks fantastic and runs great should i worry about him not flushing the motor and how much would this be worth

If it's used on fresh water no problem if used on salt water all engines "should" be flushed after use, if not, will build salt formations on all water passages & thermostat, lessening cooling performance on engine. You could flush it all day long, but won't know for sure how much salt formation has formed already inside engine up to now..
