Re: Indecent Proposal

I feel a bit safer now that i have the boat insured, but i will still reserve its use to family and close friends...
like others have stated, even with insurance, its still not worth the hassle and headache.....

Re: Indecent Proposal

Jeez, I'm pretty glad I live in a place where the "sue anyone" isn't around...I got sued once here in canada, and they lost....they ended up paying me, my lawyer, the court, their lawyer...

One would think that a sport with inherent risk involved, after watching you tow others, the warnings about death on the tube, they ASKED to go for a ride, and the fact that it's a high speed water sport, would free you of any sort of culpability..:( not in today's greedy world...

Here in the US greed is the norm and no one but family can be trusted. Here we have inmates who sit in jail and just sue everyone they can, and judges are so liberal they will award frivolous garbage stuff. I like England's and Canada's rules, you sue and lose, you pay for everyone's cost's. It stops this junk from clogging up the courts and gives normal humans the chance to be nicer people. We have flaws here that dictate how we are allowed to act. Anyways maybe one day this pattern will change, until then just be careful.
