Ok 1989 90hp v4 50:1 mix in the tank. I just had my timing set at the shop. Took it out this weekend and noticed a substantial increase in hole shot and wot. Only thing is runs a little ragged in the first 3000 rpm's. Wot sounds great. Also a little rough at start up. Once warmed up idles great, but initially it's just not right. Any ideas? I really hate to take it back to the shop as it took 9 days for them to set the timing and link and sync. I am willing to tackle this if anyone has any pointers. Thanks!

Sounds like the should have cleaned the carbs. You can do this yourself. Take them off and soak them in a good carb cleaner and blow them out with compressed air. You have some crud in a low speed jet.
