I took the inlet needle valves out of my carb, and 2 of them have a black ring around them about halfway up or so, the grooves on the bottom of them look ok, is that normal, or is that wear on them that needs to be replaced? Been having some what seems to be carb problems so was just curious. This is on a 1990 90 horse mercury. Thanks
