Install water temp and water pressure guage

Need to install water temp and pressure guages on 2005 merc. 90 3 cyl model #1090412dd serial #1b170868 has anybody got a diagram as to were the senders are installed on the engine. Therre are acouple of plugs and I don't want to break or ruin any thing.

I think my water pressure fitting busted today (the little black hose popped off a brass fitting right above the spark plugs) and water was shooting out pretty good. I have a 2004 90hp 2-stroke and am trying to determine if I have to replace the entire hose or if I can use a pipe plug (???) to close the opening so I could also use some info. I haven't been able to find a diagram online yet but will post if I do.

The gauges have arrived and I looked at the motor and can only find 1 outlet fitting on the back of the engine by the spark plugs can a t fitting be used or do I need to find another place to put the sender for the second sender.

If I remember correctly on a 1990 XR6 I had both gauges. The water pressure pick up fit in brass plug in head. I am sure that the factory engine temp sensor was variable resistor(sensor) not a temp switch (output only when high temp reached) so the temp gauge wired into it through tan wire from control box tach feed harness. -see diagram (pic only loaded to 14k size).

If your does not have a sensor and one came with gauge if you may have to T into the one outlet.

Thanks for the diagram it will help. Mine doe's not have a factory sensor so I guess will have to use a T fitting.
