Installing fuel/water seperator questions

Hello

I am installing a fuel/water separator filter, some questions

1. does the squeeze bulb go before or after the filter
2. does the filter need to be mounted below the output from the tank.
3. do I need to "prime" the filter ( fill it with fuel )

1. Fuel ball usually installed between f/w Sep and motor.
2. No you do not need to install below out put.
3. Priming will make the process easier.
Also make sure fuel ball is mounted in the right direction and as vertical as possible. Put a thin coat of oil on the f/w Sep seal.

I've always have put the primer before the filter on the tank side. That way when you have to change it or dump it for some reason it makes it easy to prime the system again.
