Installing heat exchangers

I'm posting this question for my father. He is in the process of restoring a houseboat that is powered by two 351 Mercruiser engines. He has had the engines rebuilt and has purchased a couple of heat exchangers for them. The engines were not previously set up with heat exchangers and he would like to know if someone could point him in the right direction to set up this system, as the exchangers did not include any info on installation. Any help or knowledge of an online resource would be appreciated.

Di he buy kits or just the heat exchangers? It takes a lot of different hoses, thermostat housings, brackets, etc. to make it work. Without knowing if the HE is for a full or half system, it's impossible to answer your question.
Then we get to year, inboard or sterndrive, etc.
