thanks a bunch, i just wrote a lenghty response but hit a miss key and away it went.
switch worked well, ran the boat before church, would not idle welll, swapped a couple of spark plugs and fiddled withthe spark andvance screw, ran it hard for about 15 miles, probably old gas,
17' Wellcraft fisherman cc, 1974 boat for sale, 1993 Johson 90 hp new trim motor ,low time, new ignition switch, and antenna, has VHS, Depth chart,just oiled teak, new poly hatch covers. I have run this boat for 27 years for about 125 bucks a year and killed the old addage hole in the water...
