I ended up wiring the black wires to a standard toggle switch. And i never did check compression i just assumed since i had started it before it would be good. I really didnt have a certain starting procedure last year i just hooked it up to a lawn mower battery and put some gas in the tank and got it to fire up. I took the pull starter and the flywheel off and looked at what i assume the ignition system is. Im not sure if this means anything but nothing appeared to be burned up everything looked clean. I intened to take the carb of this week and clean it. Even if its not the problem it will be good for it anyway.
