Allstate is the only way to go.

Not if your boat is 30 years old or older.

Just don't try to save money by being under insured. Some companies will try to compete by underinsuring you. Again, I can't say enough about Progressive. They are great. Costs me less than $400 per year. My wife is an agent and she always makes sure we have adequate coverage.

I use Progressive just for my boat. They were the cheapest, which is what I was looking for. My homeowners would have gone up over $300 to add the boat. I got a good policy for $174/year buy going through an insurance broker and selecting Progressive.
