I think I know the answer, but I have to ask. I recently added a cold air intake to my truck for more power. Added about 10 horses and sounds great. This got me thinking. I have a spare crowl for my 150. If I cut three holes right in front of my three carbs, remove the carb covers and fashion some kind if filter holder to keep water and dirt out, it would give it a ram air type intake. An added benefit would be airflow around the block to help with cooling. I don't have a overheating issue, considering I'm sucking up 75?F river water and my block stays right under 100?F. I guess my question is would I gain anything, hunt anything, or just a waste if time?
Thanks,
Tom
