interchangeable parts between 85hp and 135hp v4

I found a 135 johnson for cheap. Im thinking about getting it for parts for my 85 evinrude. what are the differences between these engines?

the 85 is 77 and the 135 looks like early to mid 70s.

The 135 had bigger pistons / displacement.------Many other parts are common.

Do the 135 and 85 powerheads interchange ? The lower unit and prop look to be in very good shape.

From what I've gathered, the pistons and rods are the same but a different block, different port timing and/or sizes. I have a 77 85hp and a 76 135hp. Digging up info now on what all is interchangeable. The powerhead and lower units are interchangeable

From what I've gathered, the pistons and rods are the same

Wrong, Bore is different, so the Pistons have to be different

In 79 and 80, the85 got a boost in Displacement and then shared the same bore as the more powerful V4s
