I can't seem to find a schematic for my 2003 Yamaha 85-hp AET outboard (2 stroke) - bought in Puerto Rico and falls under their International line - anyone know of a place that might handle those?

This should really be a 90TLRB but don't know....if it is you can go to yamaha's outboard site...then parts and service...then 'view parts catalog' and pick this motor and look at all engine schematics. For free.

Re: International Yamaha outboard parts

You will find nothing for this engine in the states. It was built for consumption outside the states and no parts or information is available. I've had several customers that brought back engines from South America or one of the islands and no parts available here will exchange for theirs. I called one of my Yamaha Techs Kenasaw Ga and they don't even have any information either. Happens with Suzuki also.

Re: International Yamaha outboard parts

yep
what capt ken says.
I see a few international motors here and a lot when I am in VE.
quite a few of the parts are a bit different than the US market engines.
there is a yamaha dealer in caracas VE that may be able to help. venemarine I think is the name of it.
last one I had to deal with was a 30 HP with a bad water pump. took me about 3 hours to finally find a pump kit for the US market that would fit it.
good luck :).

Also came across a customer that has a pair of F225's that are carbed and not EFI'ed. Talk to the rta's and they said that it was possible.

Weird.....

Funny, they all said "but the price for the engine was so much cheaper than here in the states"
