Oh, Bondo is right. I was thinking the part was a ski locker hatch, not a tow post. Sorry for the brain failure... :eek::D

For $1200 a first timer got a boat that runs and floats?

Heck, if he only got one season outa it, it's still a great deal, brand be damned.

OMC's are NOT hard to get parts for unless you're lazy.

My father-in -law had a 1976 bayliner 25ft cuddy that was a great boat. The floor deck/stringers were totally rotted out in his after leaving it out in the rain uncovered year after year in good ole SW WA. What a waste!

this has turned into nothing but a childish slug fest. original poster has not posted since March. Closing. and is still say a lot of it is owners negligence.
