I liked the old forum better than the new forum. It seems to cumbersome and why fix it when it isn't broken in the first place.

Is it just me or do you feel the same way?

Sorry...got to go with the flow of this thread.

I far prefer scrolling down to see all the replies than having the open each one.

One of my favorite forums and whoever does the work on it, hats off to you. I appreciate it and all the members.

But I did prefer the old format.

Often times change is required, I just had to upgrade two of my systems dues to security issues that have become exploited by a new group of hackers, all software is subject to security breaches. As security issues come up, programmer's have to update software to address them, which results in a newer version of the system being issued.

I am well aware of how many do not like change, but you have to remember often times it is in your best interest that the owners are upgrading.

Now on this computer I am using right now, I still see the same format I did before the upgrade, on my new computer I see the threaded type format, so that means it is a browser setting, I just have not figured out which one yet.

It sounds like your account is set to display in Thread mode. In the upper right of any forum screen, click on "Settings". Then find "General Settings" on the left, and scroll down to "Thread Display Options". Change the "Thread Display Mode" to one of the linear modes.

Holy flip ^^^^^^ I just tried that for fun. That "Threaded Mode" absolutely sucks . . . If that's what mark's issue is no wonder he doesn't like it. Yuck!

I see now that when I'm signed in I can still just scroll for replies. When I view not signed in I have to click on each reply. Hope viewing the forum not signed in doesn't make me a bad person

It seems something has changed in the last few days, and will bring this problem up with tech guys Monday.
In the mean time, it's really easy to change to the Linear mode without going to your settings.
Below is a picture of this thread in the "Thread" mode (yeah, it sucks). If you look at the upper right of first post in the thread there are several options, click on Display and choose Linear mode in the drop down menu.

OK now I see what the fuss is about. As of for me the forum works the same as before other than refreshing the page to see new posts. As the bugs get worked out it seems to be getting faster or i am just getting use to how to do things. I do like the page format so you can stay on one page with out having to go in and out the forum to refresh the page.
