also if the magnet is close within a few degrees couldnt you always tune it out by testing your timing? unless you are WAY off then you shoud be fine if you do the joereeves method of WOT timing your motor because you have no chance of blowing up your motor that way. and if you cant time it then its time for a new flywheel. but i dont think it would hurt to give it a try with just a little time.

well i finally got the motor to idle decently with fiddling with the link and synk but when i put my timing light to it my i cant get a reading on it my timing is jumping all around. what could be causing this? none of my linkage is loose. any ideas?
