1) Performance issue you are trying to correct. SLOW HOLE SHOT AND DON'T WANT TO PUSH BOAT UP ONTO TRAILER
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum.MICHIGAN WHEEL APOLLO XHS STAINLESS
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required). 13 7\8 - 23 PITCH
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)5800RPM IF TACH IS RIGHT
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP 1984 MERCURY 200 HP
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight STATOS 21FT 1200LBS

I just bought a older boat and when i bought it , it ran good in drive way and has good compression ( 120- 118 on all six cylinders) but when i took out it did not want to get up on plane and then it would plane out slow and then run great WOT . so I brought home and rebuilt carbs and fuel pump and took out again and it got alot better and it gets on plane just fine now but i can tell that it takes a second to get prop turn good. and when trailering it has a had time pushing boat up onto trailer . and just not spinning prop fast enough I did find some problems with trailer but I am sure that it will struggle so I was looking at prop and it just seems to be alittle to much pitch but don't no much about props but i do know the high pitch the faster top speed and the lower pitch faster hole shot . I was told that a 21 pitch is about right for this boat and I need to advise before i go out and buy one . thanks

You my try to pull the prop and see if all the splines are good. Had this problem with a 17' Bass boat with 150hp on it. The inner splines were pretty much gone!

Back your trailer a little deeper in the water. If it's turning 5800 rpm, you have the right prop.

Stratos boats are known for being a little harder to plane off than some other brands.

The bare hull may weigh just 1200 lbs, but the rigged boat with a Merc 200 will be around 2500 lbs.

Since your Merc V-6 uses the same props as an Alpha stern drive, you will get better overall performance by considering a "bigger" prop(diameter).

It does sound like you have the correct prop. You may gain some low and mid range by dropping to a 21p. They are pretty much standard, 23p seems a bit much.

As to your power loading, I hope you don't live in my area. Power loading is illegal here (and should be everywhere) and tears up the ramps. Put your trailer in until just the tops of the fenders are out of the water and then coast up on the trailer. You can winch it the last couple of feet.

Does your prop have vent holes under the leading edge of the blades? If not get a prop that does have the vent holes. They help get the boat on plane much faster by creating controled ventilation. I had a Stratos that would get on plane in less than 4 seconds with no bow lift. I was running a 24" Raker on a Johnson 150hp.
