I am taking my boat off the trailer to paint the bottom.i am looking for the best possible product where I have some minor leaks as well.I cant find any loose rivets.it looks in really good condition.i have heard some people using flex-seal-truck bed liner-gluvit-5200.etc. has anybody done this before with success.i don't want to remove all the flooring.the cabin is a tight fit artea for me and sealing from the outside is much easier.

If it's rivets that are leaking, re-buck them. I wouldn't use Flex Seal on my Dog House!!!! 3M 5200 is a great Marine sealant but I still recommend rivet repair before using a sealant. But I am NOT a Tin Can Boat Expert so you might want to wait and see if one of em stops by with their 2 cents.

Personally, I would neve cover the whole bottom of my boat with some kind of goop for what may just be a couple of rivets. But that’s me.

I cant find any loose rivets. I have read about possible shrinkage of the sealing material in the seams.????
