First off I think allowing those here illegally to stay its bullsheet. Not to mention a slap in the face to everyone who had gone the US immigration and citizenship route legally.
And don't give me that we need the cheep labor crap-ola, if your business needs cheep labor you sponsor the workers you need and employ them. You also accept responsibility for maintaining employment records and notification upon separation of employment. When their done working for you they find another sponsor or go back. If they remain gainfully employed for 3 years they can apply for citizenship. Then after an additional 2 years of employment they can take the test and become US citizens. This only applies to the working individuals, minors, or other dependents remain non-citizens. At no time during the first five years are the primary individuals or any of their dependents entitled to any government sponsored programs. No free welfare, no free medical, no free rides. After the primary provider gains US citizenship their dependents become eligible for government programs.
Any business or individual's found employing illegals will be fined and face the possible loss of their business or property.
I know this by no means cover all aspects of the illegal immigrants but I'm willing to bet it covers better than 80 percent of them.
