Can a jackplate help me get more speed I have a 93 115 johnson runs. 40 mph at 5700 rpm can getallmost trimmed all the way up . Will it help. When just no wake running motor runs like 3 000 rpm now

If you can trim it all the way up without slipping then it the motor can probably go up with your current prop. While a jackplate can help it may be a bit tricky on a shorter boat. If I were doing it I'd try a Bobs manual 4-in-1. It can be set up with 3" setback or 6" setback. Gives you some options.

While you are at it, check your tach and speedo. 40 MPH sounds way too slow -- especially at 5700. At 5700, I would expect closer to 50 unless you have a really low pitched prop, and a no wake RPM of 3000 tells me to be suspicious again of too little pitch.

I suspect that on a 15 footer, your 115 engine should be swingind about a 19-21 pitch
