Again the V block is a bad idea...
The strength of the hull is at the keel...
Applying force several inches above the keel makes it weaker....

The marina's method of support would not be considered 'industry standard', so your concerns are well founded. Additionally, they were not using proper equipment. The support that you added at the stern along the keel and at the chines should be adequate.

You will have to decide whether or not you continue to have the marina store your boat for winter.

Thank you Ted, and all the rest for the very helpful advice. I expect to look elsewhere for storage next year. Right next door is a marina owned by its members. They do their own blocking and shrink wrap. It's a nice combination of skilled veterans without the pressure of minimizing labor. I don't think the present marina will want to do it in accordance with industry standards, let alone my sometimes anal standards.
