The one that we supply to Jayco to put in their RV's is a true Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater DVD player.<br />There are 5 main speakers (front left, front right, front center, rear left and rear right) and a subwoofer. You can play CD's in stereo, DVD's in stereo or 5.1 DVD's for true home theater surround sound. It ISN'T 100W/channel, but in an RV you don't need much power.<br /><br />After reading your additional question, yes it is an AM/FM/FMStereo receiver also. The AM is weak for an RV because there is no outside AM antenna. The AM "loop" antenna is designed for an urban apt. FM has an outside antenna.
