I hope that I am not opening up a can of worms or anything here but it has been a long while since I have been active here. I got an email to participate in something new that iboats was planning but I declined as I don't do the facebook thing.
I got to thinking about all the old names here and how they were doing. The main one was JB and I was wondering if he is still around. He helped so much years and years ago and kept me active on this site for a long time.
I see that tashasdaddy is still going strong as well as a few others that I remember.
Can't even remember some of the names but there was solittle and, heck I can't remember but I guess what I am asking is if any of the old guard are still around and doing well.

Re: JB

I knew he was the oldest just hoping he was still alive and kicking at the hideout. Shoot there was vt bob and gonefishie, kiwiphil, my old buddy roscoe in australia that I still keep in email contact with, and ...... oh yeah, I can't forget my dale dhadley who has helped me out at few times with props and info.

JB is still, very much, with us. He still stands as the Captain of this ship.

All bow to his wisdom.:)

We are Blessed to have him aboard.

Geez , the title to this thread "JB" scared the crap out of me , Thought something had happened to him . Very relieved to be breathing easier now.

Re: JB

Me too Kend, When I used to log on I saw JB on just about every thread and when I logged on this time he wasn't anywhere to be found and I was worried too. Glad to hear that you are still going old buddy. Nice to hear from everyone. Cruised around the site last night for a while and found some more names from the past. Kinda like getting home again.

Re: JB

Howdy Fireman! Been a few changes, iboats is a kinder and gentler forum now. SpinnerBaitNut (SBN) is departed, may he rest in peace, and his humor is missed greatly. Some of the old guard has left, some came back, and iboats keeps growing and changing with the needs of growth.

Good to see you back, hope you stay a spell!

Re: JB

Thanks all. It's kinda strange being away for as long as I have and a couple days back on feels pretty comfortable again. aspeck, almost forgot about you buddy, you are right about it being kinder and gentler and I reckon that is one of the reasons I became less active. I remember when spinner left us adn you are right he was a huge part in the forum.
