Johnson 10 hp carburetor

I have a 10 hp Johnson outboard model #AD-10 M serial #1405450 in need of a carburetor. If anyone could help out I would appreciate it.

Try www.tcoutboard.com. They usually have anything.

An AD is a 7.5hp. The 10's are QD. Are you sure of the model #?

Thanks, I am positive it is AD. The person who gave me this motor told me 10 hp.

OK heres the deal... The motor cover is white fiberglass and on the back states Johnson Sea Horse 10 . The tag on the transom bracket says AD 10M and the # on the block says 301848. Does anyone know what I got. Pictures show it is the spitting image of the QD 20 or QD 21??????????????????

Hate to disagree with Steve/Samo Ott .....so I won't
AD 10 is a 1956 7.5 HP
QD 20 is a 1959 10HP
QD 21 is a 1960 10HP

Hmm....an AD-10 is definitely a 7.5 hp. You may have a bit of a frankenoutboard going on there. It's not uncommon. See if there's a model number on a round plug on the engine block. If so, what does it say?

Some of the cowlings are interchangeable.

It also may just be that someone installed the transom bracket unit from an AD-10 to replace a broken one on a QD. Lots of parts swapping going on with those 50+ year old outboards.
