I need some advice... I have a 1980 115 johnson on a renken and i just got it cheap!!! figured motor was a problem when i saw head bolts were loose. I did a compression check and found the two cylinders on the left to be about 115 lbs each. The cylinders on the right had almost no pressure on either top or bottom! Seems to me if there were a leak in the head gasket between cylinders that both would be low but fairly close(50 lbs each). but I'm talking about having only 10 lbs each. Somebody point me in the right direction to look. Thanks  !!!

Re: JOHNSON 115 COMPRESSION

Hi JOFO <br /> I don't realy understand. What direction you want to go? Starbrid bank, no compression, head bolts loose. Well take the head off and see what the problem is. Let us know what you find.
