Johnson 140 -87, weight?

Hello,<br /><br />I'm using a Johnson 140 hp -1987. Now I'm thinking of buying a new 2003 Mercury 115 4-stroke EFI. The mercury-engine weight about 386 lbs and now I need to know what my old Johnson weights, to compare this engines. Couldn't find it anywhere....<br /><br />Is there any opinion of the Mercury engine I'm thinking of? Good? Bad?<br /><br />Thanks!<br />Illis

It is pretty close to that merc.I would guess around 365 pounds.

your engine weighs 365-370lbs based on the model- according to www.nada.com.

Illis.... The 1987 140hp Evinrude/Johnson weighs 365(Long) to 370(X-Long) lbs.
