Johnson 8 pusher prop

Racerone or whomever,

Outboard...J8SRLEDS so 1996 extra long shaft. This is the prop on it. Can't find any info on them and can't read the size. Stock paint seem to have covered up the markings under the cone. Didn't really see anything on the parts breakdown either.

Yeah, I saw those too. My bet it's the 9 1/4 by 6 1/2. It's the biggest diameter, smallest pitch and is unavailable. I've never seen one on a Evinrude. Yamaha t9 and stuff but not rudes.

.J8SRLEDS is a 8HP Johnson Sailmaster. The Johnson equivalent of the Evinrude Yachtwin. Specially modified engines to suit small sailboats.

My 6 hp Yachtwin has 9¼" x 6½" highthrust prop ( big Mickey Mouse ear blades)
(The 8hp Yachtwin has the same prop)

The standard engines have a 8½" x 9" prop as standard.

Compared with standard engines the Yachtwin and Sailmaster engines came with 20" or 25" shaft length as standard , battery charging stator and rectifier and a modified exhaust system in which the exhaust outlet is higher, between two anti-ventilation plates, rather than behind the prop. This allowed them to be mounted deeper ( essential for a sailboat ) and without exhaust gases being drawn into the prop when going astern, which gives full thrust astern.

You can see in your photo that the "normal " exhaust outlet is plugged.
