Johnson 9.5 Carb rebuild questions

I'm rebuilding the carb on my 67 Johnson 9.5 and am wondering about a few pieces that were not in the rebuild kit - the high speed orifice plug (part number 0324020) and the filler plug that goes behind the welch plug (part 0312909).

Since they are not part of the rebuild kit and look like they would be pretty tough to remove.....

Should these be removed and if yes, how the heck do you get them out?

The orifice plug SHOULD come out. Some can clean them by soaking, then running fine wire through them, I prefer to pull them out. However, I have the special tool to do it. Do not try to do it with a normal screw driver, you will ruin it. If you do run wire through it, ensure you do not damage it or bore it out larger ID.

The welch plug should be in the carb kit no? On top of the filler plug?
