i got a boat from my dad that was built by him and i when i was growing up, we put a fat 50 on it that was pieced together using a couple motors... transom mount is from a 75 horse for example, he most recently put yet another motor on it and i have no idea exactly what it is, and i do not know if the numbers on transom mount are right... only numbers i can find other than those on transom mount are on left side of motor on top of cylinder. can anyone help????

Look for a freeze plug on the motor (quarter size aluminum) that will have your model number and seial number on it.

Model number would start with V4 or V4S, 10 for 1958 or 11 for 1959

That is very likely to be a powerhead of a Johnson engine. Sounds strange but even though both Evinrude/Johnson were owned by OMC, Evinrudes had BOTH model and serial numbers on that plug. Johnsons only had a serial number.
