I have recently replaced many lower unit seals on this Engine and during the process I noticed that the PO had buggered the rubber grommet that connects the lower unit water supply to the down tube to the engine. I put it back the way it was knowing that I should keep a very close eye on this issue. Sure enough the test run provided me with positive results regarding no more white gear oil however after a 1 minute run I heard a slight sound change in the Engine. I could see it was spitting water like it used too but It sprays when in a lower RPM. I let it idle low for a minute and it ran just fine only to repeat a slight sound change. I idle back to the shore and am sure to replace this grommet. I can see it was pushed into the lower unit tube causing an obstruction like it was before. I thought I could fix it by repositioning it and massaging it. Nope.

Is this an available part?

Thank you very much...that is the part I need. My tabs are broken off on the side and it folded and partially clogged in the tip of the water tube. Water would then fill the internal exhaust area and make the sound change.
