Johnson model year?

I just purchased a Johnson model # J90TLCUR serial # R7568711. Can anyone tell me the year? <br />Thanks

Hi Desperados,<br />Looks like an 87 model to me. the 'CU' is the clue. C is 8 and U is 7. Taken from the word 'INTRODUCES' where the I is 1, the N is 2 and so on. Wonder which bright spark thought that one up? And why, if we all know the magic word, didn't they just put 87 and have done with it!
