Hi All;

Hope this is the right post area for this.

I need parts for an older (approx 1962) Johnson Outboard 40 HP model RDS-24

I'm looking for an entire lower end, complete motor gasket set, set of rings and cam bearings

any suggestions?

Look at craigs list columbus posting under boats on june 27th date. Post says he has a big pile of 60 and 70's lower units for sale none over 250.00 . It says there are for 40 to 150 hrs. motors. Maybe you'll get lucky and he will have yours. His cont. no. ph. 614 864 7057

Cam bearings? Your motor has a cam? Must be a one of a kind.
Yeah, I know, you meant to say crank bearings. Just funnin' ya.

What about marine plywood - where can this be sourced?

most any good lumber yard. HD and Lowes can order for you. but not stocked.
