Welding a nut onto those studs and using heat on the block would get most of them out.

I would have no problem with getting you the TN, but shipping would make it cost prohibitive. If you place a wanted ad at aomci.org in the webvertize, you can find a member local to you.

Here’s the latest, I could never find a good replacement power head on EBay and I had some time on my hands so I ended up drilling / grinding out the broken head bolts and tapping the bolt holes for new threads. I was getting the head ready and to assemble, and I saw some custy residue in the water passages on the head. What causes this?

I cleaned this out while I was sanding the mating surface of the head, but I think the head was warped as it took forever to get the middle of the head surface to shine up when I was sanding its surface. Also, when I put the head on, do I put anything on the head bolts or head gasket , or do I assemble everything dry? Also, do I have to re-torque the head bolts after its first running, or is that for other engines?

Every cylinder head I have looked has been warped just like yours.------2 cylinder / V-4 / V-6 does not matter , they all warp.---It is the nature of an aluminum casting like that.

Ok, everythings nice and shiny with the cylinder head. Would it be overkill to deck / plane the power head before re-assembling?
