I purchased a 40 HP 92 model Johnson and the plastic (Shell) that attached around the ball on the lever was broken. I replaced this piece and I have adjusted the play on the lever to specs and every other way and I cannot get the ram to move out of the cylinder in an upward direction. What is my next thing to try? The cable is moving, but it is not opening anything to cause the ram to move. I can't even pull it out. It will move and I can feel resistance but no movement. Help!!
