have a 1985 Johnson 140 looper with a bad fuel pump side on the VRO. Want to go back to premixing fuel.What about using an automotive electronic type fuel pump and mounting it under the cowling? Is there a 12v. switched source on the motor? Besides plugging the pulse fitting what else would need to be considered? Have read manny of the notes in here about dissabling VRO but have never seen any comments about going electric/ What do you all think?
