Johnson year of manufacture?

Picked up a 9.9 Johnson Sea-Horse outboard motor model #J10RCID Serial #E5410853. Can anyone tell me what year it is? Thanks!

I think it is an '81, Beanzy.<br /><br />If I am wrong there will be several corrections very soon

JB,<br />How can you tell the year of the motor just by the model number? Do you have a reference book?
