That same storm system extended all the way up here to MN, the first touchdown missed us by under a mile, 5 or 6 more touchdowns after that. Sounded like it may be worse in WI. One confirmed fatality here. Prayers to everybody in the path of this system.
My wife is from there. Most of her family and friends are in and around Joplin. Thankfully all family is accounted for, and we heard about an hour ago from the last missing friend she is okay, but lost her house and car which was about 3 blocks from the hospital that got destroyed. Several of the businesses on the news are places we frequent on a regular basis. Plus my wife's old house is completely MIA. I'm sure everyone there would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
The damage is horrible,We had tornadoes recently, they were nowhere near as violent,but still killed, and did lots of damage.We were lucky, compared to Mo. and Ala.I wish everyone well.
