ignore all these speed freaks and enjoy your boat. at some point, you may want to replace the drivetrain but for now, it looks decent. beautiful boat overall. and welcome to the mob. where is Harbor springs?

tip of the mitt Michigan. Hooked up the batteries to night and most everything worked. Radio/cd player did not. engine turned over and started and the shifter appears to shift. I feel some better alreadly. ordered a manual today to. Does anyone know what the trailer button on the dash is for.??

Trailer button raises the outdrive to max up for trailering without dragging. It bypasses the trim limit switch to allow raising the O/D higher than max up trim.

Ok spent some more time checking things. cd player shot no big deal. Plastic tank for trim tabs cracked, melted it back togather. I think it was oil canning, put a small hole in the fill plug to stop the oil canning. Probley will have to change it more often now because of moisture. Did a partial compression test, tools to big for hole 2&4 150 and 155 in one and two, decided that will do for now. Next project to see if I can get impeller parts for water pump. From what I read it is likely to need changing. I have done several very short starts. after the compreshion test I even let idle for several seconds. smooth. Also need to check drive oil and level. Engine oil is clean. Question: how much play should the prop have when in gear?? Great site lot of info here. Don't have pics yet I'm dial up so they will be few and far between. Grand Kids came to see it today there ready to go.
