I'm a lone launcher and retriever............No way around it. My wife has a masters and the book-sense of Bill-Gates, but when it comes to anything that moves. Not happening. She has hit my truck backing out of our driveway 3-times,(same driveway) once doing 4ks worth of damage. She got out of her Accord once and left it out of gear, it rolled down a large hill hitting a house causing about 15k worth of damage to the house and tottaling the car (no more manuals). The one time I let her drag a Jet-Ski trailer back from the ramp, she knocked-down a mailbox..........

Sorry if ya gotta wait, get over it........I can back , launch, move and retrieve in most cases faster than 4-people can..

I do a night before check of the boat, load it before going, check it while in line. The ramp is for launching and loading, nothing else. If you got mechanical problems, get outta the way, or pull your boat out and get outta the way. It's rude to sit there and hog the ramp. Basically, have your #$%^ together before you get to the ramp.

Exactly right! I don't enjoy being on the ramp any more than the next person. If it takes someone 5-10 minutes to get loaded or unloaded onto their trailer I can deal with that. I understand problems with wind or current and having to do it by ones self. Just be ready when it is your turn.

I'm going to have a beer tonight, in honor of not having to launch and retrieve my boat from a trailer! If/when I do, my club has it's own launch ramp, private, and never a wait.
