Jammed my fingers in the port side idle relief and blue green water comes out the starboard relief. Noticed drive fluid reservoir was getting low last year also i pulled the drive (last year) and noticed a decent amount of lube in the universal boot. I didn't fix that yet. Need help connecting the dots...how does the lube get into the exhaust?
Thanks guys

Ayuh,.... The exhaust passes by several drive seals on it's way to the prop,...

If it's leakin' oil into the bellows, Who knows what other seals are leakin',....

I stored the boat with the drive up this past winter, oops, so that combined with a worn gasket between the drive and bell housing plus gravity and my drive lube resevoir drain into the exhaust bellow. I was wrong about the drive leaking in the universal area.
