Welcome!!<br /><br />If youre going to leave it alone have someone follow you around with a video camera. That should be a good one.<br /><br />Seriously, we assume you mean the tank is in the floor. So yes, if you want to fix it (read -- replace) you have to get it out. You could drain it, unhook it, flush it completely, never put gas back in it and put another tank somewhere like under the console. Or in the gunnel.
