Just got the new PALM "PRE" pda

gotta say it is a pretty cool phone..gonna play with this for a few hours...
Dont know if it is a blackberry killer..but can give the Iphone a run for the money...

It has MORE memory than my first desktop puter did! man I'm old

lol..I hear ya TD..no pun intended

Its VERY clear...but the ringers are all so dammmm low..If I have the window cracked in my truck, forget about hearing the phone..

In case none of ya knew..(how could ya?) I am completely deaf in my right ear, which I guess makes it the wrong one to hear outta! lol

The coolest thing is now I can tap out iboat replies and do posts while sitting at redlights without my laptop open on the passenger seat..and dont think I havent! lol

It is my work phone so all the newfangled bells and whistles really help

Does it have the GPS rat out device? WHere the boss can track your movements from starcraft to starcraft ???

lol...yep..but I can turn it off...

Was think how this phones GPS would work out on the water, but my luck I'll drop it then it would be grouper lunch and they would be tracking me swimming around the gulf..lol Or think Ive just been out on the boat everyday for weeks on end! lol

With 11 states that I cover (oklahoma south & oklahoma east) ya think I'd have bout 50 Starcrafts at least huh?

i'm totally deaf left ear, 50% right, we would make a good team. all hearing aids do is make the back ground noisier.

Actually... years of loud noises and age takes it's toll on all of us

I have found a wired headset works best when I am in the car. I never have to worry about batteries and it was cheap. Works great.

I have a blue tooth device that puts calls through the truck stereo via RF...
I just havent messed with it much..
