Guys let me be real clear here. I love this forum and all the friends I've found since I started hanging aroud here. I'm not going anywhere!

Secondly, the soon to be x and I are extremely friendly and plan to keep it that way. We're not fighting over anything and the LL will remain in the family until I leave this planet!!!!!!

The rest of that crap I've been collecting for the last 30 years can go for all I care. And sadly, I don't think the Center Console is going to happen at this point.

I will still continue collecting brochures and trying to help the new guys if I can.

And since my son came by and fixed the stupid malware problem I had, maybe I can post a little more. Some how, every time I clicked on a link, it sent me to some cheezy looking like yellow pages add, and crippled my ability to work any windows documents or pictures at all. I'm glad that's over!!!!

I rode for a couple of hours today! 37 degrees and spitting snow!

The Harley is sweet...I spent the young years of my life 19-23 on a Harley.
Its not anywhere near a good trade for whats about to come your way, but is always good to have something to look forward to..

NB, sorry to say but, been there--done that. As you have obviously read, you are one of the reasons (not LL) that a lot of guys are on here and I am with that group. Unfortunatley there are a few that we no longer hear from, and those we do hear from, EZ, CBK, Bob Vt, yourself and other that names escape me (apologies) are the stringers that hold this boat together. We have some rotten wood.. but a great hull, so we all will stay afloat. You have hit a few waves but your vessel will weather this too. You have a ton of sailors at your disposal and together we make for a heck of a crew.
You stay at the helm with your course in sight and once again it will be smooth sailing.

NB my friend, I am sorry to hear what is happening. It wll get better, a lot better buddy. I know as I have been there, only mine was so very very ugly and I was looking at the dark side of things as well. There was a time I did not care if I sank or not, what got me through was the help of some very dear friends. You have many here that think a great deal of you and I am sure that if you need something that they would be more than happy to be there for you buddy. You have a very good son that cares a great deal for you and that is a super start.

You now have one cool ride to go along with the LL. Now it is time to go out and have a good time and spread your wings buddy. Enjoy what you have and things will get a lot better buddy.

I don?t know much about hunting unless it?s about hunting big fish. I have had a quick look on the web for hunting packages for 5 days for 6000US. Way out of my league.
I know a place you could use as a ?landing pad? if you make it out here.

Man, I hate to hear about the big D. Ive been there 2 times before, for reasons I couldnt control. Both very emotional and "dark". I pray things are better for your life and the outcome for her as well. Like many of us here in the Starmada, we all start a new begining with our tins. We re-build them and make them better. Such the same with your personal life. Good news here man. You get to start again and rebuild. Your son...AWESOME! Truely a blessing. Cherish the Iron and the Tin bro. Sorry to hear that you're in a rough patch. Been there myself, and let me tell you that my new life did get built and things will get better. So let me give you some unasked for advice. I've been riding most of my life -and still have my old Shovelhead Harley and yes - and old BSA that gave me my nickname of Beezer. Do yourself a favor and make yourself a one drink rule about drinking and riding. (don't ask)

Hope things turn around soon for you.

as someone who's down to 6 bikes these days, i'll second Beezerchris' comment on the 1 drink rule. but there is NO better way to get through divorce etc than a bike.....you raised that kid right.

i trust you know you got a place to crash if you're ever down this way....

I'm not really a drink and drive kind of guy. I mostly just have a few socially at home cookouts and stuff

I will only add that my favorite part of my divorce (??) was a very, very long road trip, all alone, radio off. That's good brain time. You have no choice but to think about and work out all that stuff you don't wanna think about. Let go of all the stuff you can't control, figure out what you're gonna do about all the things you CAN control.

As a very wise friend of mine once said: "the only way out of it is all the way through it".

Stay strong and put some miles on that bike.

My would be uncle was killed on a bike because the other guy in a pick up truck wasn't paying attention. He was thrown something like 100', didn't have a chance.

I used to ride a lot back in the day, man it's the best! I am really jealous of you guys! Before I got married she said "me or the bike". I miss the bike, a lot.

but if i got another boat, I'd be getting a divorce too...... and when you live 100 miles from nearest boat-able water and are surrounded by desert full of trails.....when i take the back road to our cabin, it's 70+ miles of unpaved, no idjits to get ya cept for the pronghorn, mulies, and elk. boats and bikes to me are apples and oranges....neither one could substitute for the other

ultimately we all gonna die, whether under an idjit's wheels or in a hospital with tubes n wires. some just sell their bikes and start the dying process early....
