Thats too bad, sorry to hear it...sometimes it is more difficult to lose a companion with four legs than it is to lose one with two legs. My wife cried more when one of her cats died than when her grandmother cried. I think that was because it was expected that the gandmother was to die soon due to illness, the cat died suddenly for an unexpected reason.

I have lost a few four legged buddies and its enough to make me never want any more....

I think sometimes animals are G*d sent to you.
Sounds like you were as loyal to him as Hoover was to you.

It always amazes me how close and personal these "dumb animals" come to us... almost like they are human, or more.

Maybe that is why we cherish them so... so like us, but only a flicker in our lives.

We love them because of how they enrich every waking moment we spend with them. They love us just because we are... so simple, but so profound.
