I just purchased an 1985 Stratos bass boat and it came on a 1985 Cavalier Custom trailer. I believe all of the Keel rollers need to be replaced as they are all appear to be split. I measured the rollers on the trailer and they all measure just about 11 1/2". I have only been able to find 10" and 12" replacement rollers. Is it possible that the ones on this trailer may have stretched 1 1/2"? Long shot, but anyone have one of these trailers and replaced the keel rollers? I can't find much info online about this trailer. Thanks in advance for any help.

There are a lot of old trailers out there that are using sizes that are no longer made. About the only thing to do is have new brackets made up or use the 10" and install spacer bushings on each side.

Thanks. This would explain why the previous owner didn't bother to replace them. I'll try to find some 3/4" spacers.

Best o luck, I'm sure you will get it worked out. Also don't buy the cheap ones. They do not last long.
