Keeping water from entering between windscreen and bow cover

Hi
I have a bowrider or open bow, as the US guys call it.
I fully understand that these type of boats are probably designed for better climates than here in Scotland, but I detest the constant trickle of water that enters where the bow cover fastens forward of the windscreen.
The cover I have is a really good fit and even has a sealing lip to meet the boat, but still leaks then runs onto the seat and into the bilge.
A windscreen cover, then overlapping the bow cover may help, but really don't want to go down that route, as I use the boat often with the full camping covers up.
Was thinking of some sort of sealing tape or similar that can be re used...?
Anyone have any bright ideas ?
It's maybe one I'll just have to suck up, but coming from a high quality British made boat previously, which was as water tight as a ducks arse, it's hard to take !
Thanks

Depends on the type of cover and make of boat. The cover on my searay worked great even when stuffing the bow in large waves, effectively pushing the water over the bow canvas, over the windscreen, and into me. That did, however, result in many gallons of water in the boat

Haha that's pretty funny!

To get back to the question: Why is there a constant trickle, shouldn't it only happen when you are in the rain or when you get some spray on the bow?

In the end you may have to suck it up, but have you considered weatherstripping near where the bowcover conects to the windshield. It may be a bit ugly though.

The same thing happens on my boat, water trickles down into the now area and the seats but only when there is a lot of rain or spray

Hi guys

Yeah, it's just happens with the constant rain in Scotland. I think weather stripping is the way to go, as mentioned, but I was wondering if there is something designed or accustomed to specifically this. Don't fancy ripping gaffer tape off and on every other day
Thanks again

The sunbrella cover on my boat has a Velcro flap that attached to the bottom of the windscreen in the walk-thru section. Kept rain out

I also have the flap here. The water doesn't come in there. It comes in either side of here
