All I know about Key West is what I see on the web. Their 186 CC model looks like a very nice design to me. My only concern would be the cooler type helm seat. Sometimes these are not so comfy. What other brands are you considering?
my neighbor has one and we have been out in 3/5 foot seas - caught a sail fish-and its very comfortable he has a t-top ,cooler type seat,135hp engine ,to me its a good boat for the price...
I have a 268CC. I like the balance of fishing and family seating design. The quality of the product is very good. Our family has certainly enjoyed ours.
I have a 1900 CC with an Evinrude 120 and like it very much. I do not find the cooler seat uncomfortable. I anchor fish in the Arkansas River and it is great in the reverse position.
The boat seems to be well put together. I have few complaints.
I plan on doing some fishing on the Gulf with it and I feel it will be ample for what I want to do.
Most of my boating experience has been done under sail. My interest in fishing came to life after a thirty year absence. This is the first real power boat I have owned. Fishing during my youth was done in a jon boat or a canoe. This is a new experience for me.
