Hi ,
kind of a simple Q and I do not have a rigging guide. I found two of my Lanyard cut off switch wires just hanging not connected. one seems to go into the harness I assume that is back to the switch at the motor. Are the other two ground and power?

Re: lanyard cut off switch wiring?

The lanyard wiring connects to the two M terminals on the ignition switch. When the key is turned to off or when the lanyard is pulled, the two M points are connected which grounds the power pack at the engine and instantly shuts it down.

This link may help with the wiring:

Just scroll down to the diagrams once the page opens.

Ezeke description is correct for the vast majority of the Johnnyrudes. There were some battery/coil ignition systems(sixties V4 Dissy models) and also some battery driven CDI systems (I think). These motors would need the voltage cut to the coil or CDI Unit, to kill the motor.
