It's not that Vista was a dog. It was released too early and was glitchy before the first service pack. Now if you have an up to date Vista, it is basically Windows 7. It does not take as much ram as 7 but I think that's really the only big difference

Vista was a dog. Why, because in typical MS fashion MS expected paying users to be Beta testers. How can being released early and with so many glitches in it, not make it a dog? Vista, as it was released, bayed at the Moon.

Oh,yes Vista was a dog, I have testing software for Microsoft for over 25 years and the implementation of Vista was the worst release I remember, they should of held off and just completed 7 and jumped from XP to 7!

Right, when it came out it might as well have been a Beta version, but right before 7 came out it had been fairly perfected but it already had the black eye. I guess it is to say, if you are still running Vista it's not a bad OS with all the updates, but most have upgraded to 7.. It was rushed and they should have just waited for 7
