That smite button is like the hand of g-d, just erases it like it never was there Ha.

Was a good move bob, got a little outta hand.

Now maybe we can teach and not threaten, people on ethics, and whats right and wrong.

Whats right, good, and ethical, for me, and you, is right good, and ethical for all people, cuts across all country's borders, manners also, are timeless.

Read my sig, it's there, treat people like you want to be treated.

Re: launching and retrieving

you probably own a 10,000 dollar boat that costs you 50$ in gas for a day on the lake plus the 20$ you put in your truck for gas to get there

+beer
+food
+whatever else you spend money on for a day at the lake

why are you going to trip about a $5-$10 ramp fee?

its beyond me...........

Re: launching and retrieving

Well, I think that using the original reasoning to avoid launch fees, If you have your boat repaired by a marina and it is stored outdoors, then if you come when no one is present either before or after hours, it is acceptable to just tow your boat away without paying the repair bill. See what the marina and the police think about that one! "Trust everyone but lock all your doors."

And personally, when I see someone showing signs of poor moral character, I don't think it's a personal attack to say it. As far as I am concerned, politically correct speaking has limits. Sometimes there just is no "nice" way to say it.

Just my humble opinion, and worth just what you paid for it.

Re: launching and retrieving

Can't go on the water for less than 150 bucks. At least i can't.

40-50 for gas boat and truck

30-50 food

20-30 bait

20-30 tackle used and have to buy more of. ( wink ).

20 ramp fee here in NJ some places more.

What should i swipe the bait, and tackle also ?

I mean i swiped the ramp fee not paying it.

Am i a thief not paying the ramp fee, and paying for the gas and the bait.

Where is the line and how to justify it in ones own mind ?

What is acceptable to steal and not to steal ?

Not even a pack of gum will i take without paying for it.

All i have is my good name and honor, no one can take those from me.

Think about it !

Re: launching and retrieving

Lots of people in today's world think it's "COOL" to get by breaking the rules. I personally believe it's a lot COOLER to be honest. Not to mention I don't want to walk around wondering if I am going to get caught. I'd much rather pay for what I call a "controlled" launching ramp then an "uncontrolled" ramp. I've witnessed some pretty bad events at some public "uncontrolled" ramps. When I go to the lake, I go to have fun. If I want to fight I'll go somewhere else. And I"m just too **** old to want to fight with anyone over anything. Age really has a way of changing one's priorities huh?

Well I guess honesty and high moral standards are hard for some folks to accept.

Bashing is allowed if you use goofy icon faces and quote Vern. Both indicate that you are not really serious. Now, if you start telling "yo mama" jokes, you get banned to existence in a swimming pool, with nothing more than a floating lawnchair!
